In this role, you will play a crucial part in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of various outdoor spaces. You will undertake various landscaping projects. The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice. Key Responsibilities Excavation and Groundwork: Digging trenches for foundations, excavating, and preparing sites for asphalt or other surfacing. Drainage Installation: Laying drainage pipes, manhole covers and performing shallow or deep drainage works. Concrete Works: Preparing and pouring concrete for foundations, floors, and other structures, as well as laying kerbs and block paving. Machinery Operation: Operating plant and machinery, including excavators, dumper trucks, and hand tools like drills and pumps. Site Preparation: Marking out sites, setting up barriers, and installing temporary fencing. Material Handling: Lifting, carrying, and setting out materials like timber edgings, blocks, and other supplies. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety procedures and maintaining a safe working environment. To succeed, you will need : A full valid UK driving licence CSCS card is essential. Dumper, roller, excavator, telehandler tickets beneficial. Planting and Turfing experience is preferred Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset. Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Previous experience in an operative role is highly desirable.
