Work start date 04th May 2026. Staffline is recruiting Production Operatives in Stoke-on-Trent. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour. This is a part-time role working Friday to Sunday on a weekly basis, and the hours of work are: - 6am to 6pm Your Time at Work As a Production Operative you will be working on the production lines producing cakes. Your duties include: - Ensuring that production lines are running smoothly - Reporting any breakdowns or problems with production - Adhering to food safety standards - Adhering to health and safety standards You could be required to place cherries on the Cherry Bakewells, or pat down making sure the slices are moving through the lines the right way, or tray off taking freshly made products of the line to cool. You will be required to work at the speed of the production line as part of the production team The more experience you gain you will be able to move into more skilled roles within the factory. Our Perfect Worker Our perfect worker will be physically fit as you will be standing or moving for 8 or 12 hour shifts and repeating light manual handling. You will show good attention to detail and be able to follow detailed work instructions. Applicants will maintain production and food safety standards and have a good standard or spoken English. Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
