We are currently looking to recruit a permanent Coded Welder to work on a diverse range of medium to heavy Mechanical Engineering projects. We require fully skilled personnel to work on close tolerance work with a good all round engineering experience. Applicants must be time served or able to demonstrate a competency through experience within the workplace. Must be proficient in MIG/MAG/TIG welding; experience in medium to heavy MIG/MAG welding and previously qualified to ASME IX or BSEN 9606. Ideal Experience: Experience within a fabrication environment. Experience in both medium and heavy MIG/MAG welding Qualified to ASME IX or BS equivalent Previously coded to a recognised standard MMA/FCAW Ultrasonic work The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings. Overhead crane operating experience. A high standard of safety awareness and housekeeping. Personal Qualities Required: A team player willing to assist fellow colleagues. A good verbal communicator. This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits: Excellent rate of pay and additional bonus scheme 37 hour working week overtime payable on any additional hours worked over 37 and double time on Sundays 33 days holiday per year (25 days + 8 statutory) payable at time and a quarter of basic rate.
