The successful candidates will be responsible for the grinding of aerospace components in strict accordance with manufacturing instructions, specifications, and regulatory requirements. Location: Yeovil, Somerset Pay Rate for Night Shift: 19.51 p/h rising to 29.27 once you move to the night shift, Working hours: To begin with you will be working on a Day shift for the first month whilst you're training and you will then move to the night shift Training Hours Monday to Friday 7am until 3.30pm. Night Shift Hours: Hours - 34.5 hours per week Sun (22:00) - Mon (07:00) (8.5 hours) Mon - Thur (00:00 - 07:00) (6.5 hours per day) Key Responsibilities: Internal/External grinding using MDI (Manual Data Input) CNC machinery, surface grinding and thread grinding. OCQ - Operator Control of Quality (i.e. Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies are to Company and Customer standards). To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard. Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures.
