This role is primarily focused on the servicing, maintenance, and repair of laser systems, with additional responsibilities supporting our developing LEV (Local Exhaust Ventilation) testing services. As our company is in the early stages of expanding into LEV testing, the successful candidate will play a key role in both delivering high-quality laser servicing and contributing to the growth of our LEV offering. Key Responsibilities Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on a range of laser systems. Respond to urgent breakdown call-outs and provide on-site technical support Perform routine annual service visits in line with customer contracts Assist in conducting LEV testing and inspections in accordance with relevant regulations and standards Accurately record all service and test activities using internal documentation systems Complete and submit detailed weekly service reports Liaise with the Customer Service team regarding scheduling, parts, and customer requirements Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health & safety standards Skills & Experience Proven experience in servicing and maintaining laser systems (essential) Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills Experience or knowledge of LEV systems and testing (desirable) P601 qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable Ability to work independently in a field-based role Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer-facing skills Full UK driving licence Be located Reading to Oxford corridor Be self-motivated and organised with a flexible approach to work. About The Role You will provide an essential role in maintaining Ecotricity's fleet of onshore Enercon wind turbines throughout the UK to a high standard, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance when required.
