Landscape Project Manager & Estimator Location: South West London Salary: £47,000 - £53,000 per annum The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Landscape Project Manager & Estimator to join an established landscaping contractor based in South West London. Our client specialises in delivering high-quality hard landscaping projects for private residential clients and landscape designers. They are seeking a technically competent and commercially minded professional who can accurately estimate projects and oversee them through to successful completion. Working on projects ranging from £30,000 to £300,000 , you will be responsible for preparing detailed quotations, managing project delivery, coordinating site operations, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong hands-on landscaping experience who has progressed into project management and estimating. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed quotations and estimates from landscape drawings and specifications using Excel. Price labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor costs accurately. Carry out site surveys where required. Manage hard landscaping projects valued between £30,000 and £300,000. Set out complex hard landscaping projects. Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Liaise confidently with private clients, landscape architects, and designers. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within agreed budgets. Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability. Order materials and manage deliveries effectively. Attend client and site meetings. Resolve technical challenges and on-site issues. Maintain excellent client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Previous experience as a Landscape Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Estimator within hard landscaping. Strong technical knowledge of hard landscaping construction. Previous hands-on landscaping experience. Experience preparing quotations from detailed landscape drawings and specifications. Ability to set out and manage complex landscaping projects. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project costs. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Full UK Driving Licence. Skills & Qualities Strong technical knowledge of hard landscaping. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Commercially aware with strong attention to detail. Estimator - Landscaping, Construction and Grounds Maintenance / Dartford / Up to £50,000 P.A. Are you an experienced Estimator with a passion for creating and enhancing environments? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team at Valley Provincial , a leading interior and exterior landscaping specialist. We're looking for an experienced Estimator to provide expert cost analysis and estimating services for our landscape construction projects and grounds maintenance work. You'll play a crucial role in the sales and project lifecycle, taking ownership of projects by liaising with external consultants and clients until they're handed over to our operational teams. You will also help implement and refine our tendering process to ensure consistent documentation and preparation. The Role of Estimator: As an Estimator, you will determine project costs by analysing plans, calculating material, labour, and equipment expenses, and gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors. Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing bids and quotations. Managing project budgets against forecasts. Assessing project risks. Liaising with clients, design teams, and other stakeholders. What We're Looking For: We require a minimum of 3 years of recent estimating experience , ideally within a landscaping, construction, or groundworks company. You should also have: Experience preparing and submitting tenders for commercial landscaping, groundwork, or general construction projects. A good understanding of contracts and project risk management. Strong general IT skills, particularly with MS Office. Excellent organizational and time management skills with a history of meeting tender deadlines. Strong communication, analysis, and reporting skills. A team-oriented and flexible attitude. The ability to commute to our office in Dartford, Kent . Public transport is not practical. Experience with CAD or other estimating software is a plus, but we are happy to provide training.
