As an Autism Support Worker, you will work alongside the class teacher and provide 1-2-1 support during the lessons. You will build a strong relationship with all pupils, and learn to cater for each of their social and emotional needs. You will help manage any challenging behaviour that may arise, and also ensure each pupil is engaged and focused in class. Above all else, you will help make the classroom and a fun and exciting environment. A recent graduate would be perfect for this role, with a relevant degree in Psychology, Criminology or Sociology.
