Attend design team meetings to ensure the timely flow and release of quality information and to ensure that this information corresponds with the scope of works. Management of design risks to deliver buildable solutions. Provide engineering solutions to site-based problems through TQ/RFI process. Mentoring junior team members, providing technical guidance and promoting professional development Taking responsibility for your own professional development in line with current best practice, legislative changes, and customer requirements. We are looking for an experienced and ambitious civil engineer with the following attributes: A proven experience of working in a design environment for the construction of traditional masonry buildings, steel portal frames and reinforced concrete. Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively Ability to lead delivery of multiple simultaneous technical projects in a challenging environment. Strong communication skills to engage in technical discussions with colleagues, non-technical staff, and clients. Strong commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning You'll have a degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject) and be working toward Chartered or Incorporated status with a relevant professional body such as ICE.
