Responsibilities of our Income Processing Team Leader To lead the team of Income Processing Advisors who are responsible for managing fundraising income processing, the efficient coding and allocation of fundraising income, and the accurate creation and maintenance of supporter records. This role will liaise with colleagues across the organisation to understand and develop governing principles of fundraising processing and administration of donations, to help deliver the best possible service to a wide range of customers, including supporters, staff and volunteers. About the Supporter Services team: Supporter Services is part of the Cats Protection Marketing & Income Generation directorate, and includes the Income Processing, Supporter Care, and Gift Aid teams We answer queries from supporters about memberships, sponsorships, lotteries, raffles and donations. We also record and update the contact preferences of our supporters to ensure we only send communications which are wanted. Queries are received by telephone, email and post We currently have a team of 11 What we re looking for in our Income Processing Team Leader: Demonstrable experience of line managing staff including setting objectives, managing performance, conduct, staff development, induction and training in line with organisational policies Experience of working in an income processing role, preferably within a fundraising environment Experience of developing, monitoring and maintaining recording systems and procedures IT literate proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases (preferably Care or similar Knowledge of fundraising activities What we can offer you: range of health benefits 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service Salary Finance, which empowers you to take control of your financial wellbeing and much more, which you can learn about Interested? JOB DESCRIPTION About the role Our Independent Living teams support older people living in their own homes by providing a warm and friendly housing management service. We have a new opportunity for an Independent Living Advisor to join our team in Manchester for 6 months. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting older adults in maintaining their independence and well-being. Reporting to the Independent Living Manager, you will provide intensive housing management services to residents in our sheltered housing schemes. Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with customers, supporting new residents during viewings and move-ins, and helping them understand their tenancy rights and responsibilities. You will also assist customers in accessing housing benefit support or financial advice, and make referrals for assistive technology, aids, and adaptations that promote independent living. Regular site inspections and health & safety checks will be part of your routine, along with monitoring contractor performance to ensure high standards are maintained. Your time will be primarily split between Auden Court, Manchester and Sweetbriar House, Shaw. The role requires flexibility to travel between local schemes and provide cover when required. For this reason, a full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle are essential.
