Role Overview This role is ideal for a talented and ambitious professional IT Systems and Network Engineer. The role of IT Systems and Network Engineer entails being responsible for, the installation, configuration and commissioning of complex network servers, PC's and other systems such as CCTV and building monitoring systems that make up our maritime surveillance systems. Along with their ongoing maintenance and issue trouble shooting and resolution. Please note: The role of IT Systems and Network Engineer is a role where you will travel globally for our projects, whether this is the Middle East, Far East, South East Asia, Africa's region - you will be expected to travel and live in country with an agreed rotation period up to 12 weeks in-country, 2 weeks home. Description Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a variety of tools and equipment, including machining tools, cutting tools, and precision measuring instruments, to ensure they are in proper working condition. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with tools and equipment, and perform repairs as necessary to minimize downtime and production delays. Assist in the calibration of precision tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. Assist in maintaining accurate records of tools, spare parts, and consumables in the tool room, including inventory levels, usage, and replenishment. Clean and organize tools and equipment in the tool room to ensure they are readily accessible and in proper working order. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of tools and equipment as needed for maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance and repair tasks, and report any safety hazards or concerns to the Tool Room Manager. Maintain detailed documentation of all tool-related activities, including maintenance procedures, repair records, inventory transactions, and other relevant information. Work collaboratively with other members of the tool room team, as well as production, engineering, and quality assurance departments, to support their needs and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
