Trainee Quantity Surveyor - Permanent - Up to 35,000 per annum - Full Time Maldon - office based We are partnering with a well established, family run construction business that has been thriving for many years in the local area. They offer a supportive culture, long standing employees, and an impressive portfolio of projects ranging from 10,000 to 5 million. They are now looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and here is what makes this opportunity stand out. You do not need to already be a Quantity Surveyor. You simply need the drive and interest to become one. Whether you are a graduate or someone with experience in construction, construction supply, estimating, or document control, this role offers a genuine pathway into a commercial career. The role You will not be confined to one task or department. Instead, you will gain hands on experience across the full commercial lifecycle, including: Assisting with estimating and tender preparation Supporting procurement and supplier coordination Monitoring project costs and helping maintain budgets Supporting contract and risk management processes Assisting with financial reporting and final accounts Supporting document control and project administration You will also attend site visits approximately twice per month, with all expenses covered, giving you valuable exposure to live projects.
