We're looking for strong, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team across a number of SEMH Schools and Alternative Provisions in Wiltshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children aged 11 to 16 with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), ADD, ADHD, PTSD, ASD and behaviour that challenges. What you'll be doing: Supporting children with additional needs in their learning and personal development Working closely with class teachers to create engaging and interactive activities Helping children develop social life skills and positive relationships Maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing learning environment Making a genuine difference to young people's lives every day Working 121 with children out of the main classroom to support them in regulating their behaviours and feelings What we're looking for: A genuine interest in supporting young people, especially those with mental health needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, empathy and resilience Previous experience with children or those with SEMH is a bonus - but not essential as full training will be given Any previous experience with PE or sports coaching can be really useful in these roles!
