Reporting to the Fuels Supervisor, you will work in a hands on environment where safety, accuracy, and reliability are essential. No previous fuels experience is required, and full training will be provided. Candidates from mechanical or hands on backgrounds such as mechanics, mechanical engineers, or plumbers are encouraged to apply. Day to day, you will be working with fuel systems, receiving and transferring fuel, operating equipment, and carrying out checks and testing to ensure safe and efficient operations. Key responsibilities You will be responsible for supporting day to day fuel operations across ground fuels, aviation fuels, and cryogenic systems. Your duties will include: Supporting the receipt, storage and distribution of fuel through pipelines and tanker vehicles Operating fuel systems, storage facilities and related equipment Carrying out fuel sampling and testing to ensure quality standards are met Monitoring fuel levels and assisting with stock planning Following operational procedures and adapting to changing requirements Maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements Health, safety and compliance This role operates in a highly regulated environment and safety is a top priority. You will: Follow UK Health and Safety regulations and USAF standards Ensure compliance with all operational, environmental and quality procedures Handle fuels and hazardous materials safely and responsibly Work closely with health, safety and quality teams Adhere to mandatory programmes and operational policies Working environment This is a hands on role working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
