Conveyancing Assistant - High-Volume, Supportive Team Environment I'm working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation within the property sector, offering an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy and collaborative team. This is a great role for someone with at least 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing or remortgage work, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high level of client service. You'll be supporting experienced conveyancers with a varied caseload, playing a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities: Providing a high standard of customer service to clients and corporate referrers Supporting a conveyancer to meet conversion and service targets Managing files (both electronic and paper) efficiently Chasing key parties including clients, solicitors, lenders and third parties for updates and documentation Handling enquiries on sale and purchase transactions Assisting with exchanges and completions Requesting and chasing funds from lenders, clients and other solicitors Preparing, issuing and checking legal documents Inputting and interpreting key data such as mortgage offers and redemption figures What I'm looking for: Around 12 months' experience within residential conveyancing or remortgage work Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach Ability to work to deadlines and manage a high-volume workload Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Confident working both independently and as part of a team Previous administrative or customer service experience within a legal or property setting You'll be joining a business that genuinely invests in its people, offering a supportive environment where you can continue to develop your skills and build a long-term career in conveyancing.
