Key Responsibilities Testing and commissioning of industrial machinery and systems Electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software fault finding PCB testing to component level Machine wiring and mechanical assembly High voltage testing activities Supporting customer machine acceptance processes Completing quality documentation and machine snag lists Developing and following test procedures and work instructions Maintaining calibrated equipment Supporting new product and machine development Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments Managing workload effectively both independently and within a team Skills & Experience Required Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant Test Engineer or similar engineering role Qualification in a relevant engineering discipline Strong understanding of: Electrical systems Analogue and digital electronics Mechanical systems Software-controlled machinery High voltage systems Desirable Experience PCB design knowledge CRM/ERP systems experience Microsoft Office proficiency Experience within machinery manufacturing, automation, or special-purpose equipment environments What's on Offer Salary up to 40,000 depending on experience 38-hour standard working week Overtime available when required 6% employer pension contribution (3% employee contribution) 27 days holiday plus bank holidays Christmas shutdown period included Health scheme Long-term career stability within a specialist engineering business
