WHAT TO EXPECT As a Logistics Forward Planner, you'll play a key role in shaping the logistics systems that support our future vehicle programmes. From the early concept stage through to production readiness, you'll plan, integrate and oversee logistics solutions that enable safe, efficient and robust manufacturing operations. This is a highly cross functional role, sitting at the intersection of programme delivery, logistics engineering, facilities, automation and plant operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring logistics activities are fully aligned to programme timelines, while also helping to design practical, scalable solutions for warehouses, line side delivery and automated material movement. Develop and maintain detailed logistics delivery plans, integrating logistics activities into wider programme schedules Lead and coordinate logistics readiness activities through design, installation, commissioning and handover Design and integrate logistics solutions, including warehouses, goods in areas, line side delivery methods and material flow layouts Work closely with logistics engineering, manufacturing engineering, facilities delivery, operations and external partners to validate solutions Define and implement automated logistics solutions, including AGVs and AMRs, ensuring they are suitable and production ready Identify and manage risks, dependencies and changes that could impact logistics readiness or programme milestones Provide clear, concise reporting on logistics readiness, risks and solution maturity to programme stakeholders WHAT YOU'LL NEED We're looking for someone who brings practical experience, systems thinking and strong collaboration skills.
