Role: Senior Accommodation Support Worker Location: Sandwell / Black Country (with travel across accommodation sites) Salary: £28,800 - £33,700 dependent on experience Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday At Supporting Futures, we specialise in connecting passionate professionals with roles that make a real difference. We work closely with leading charities and services across the UK, supporting vulnerable children, young people, adults and families. We are recruiting for a Senior Accommodation Support Worker to join an established specialist organisation delivering safe accommodation and trauma-informed support to survivors of domestic abuse. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced support worker or team leader looking to step into a senior role where you can combine direct client work with staff supervision, service coordination and quality assurance. Key responsibilities Lead and support a team delivering high quality accommodation-based services to survivors of domestic abuse Provide supervision, guidance and day-to-day support to frontline staff, volunteers and students Oversee referrals, risk assessments, support planning and case management to ensure safe and effective service delivery Support residents with complex needs to rebuild their confidence, independence and safety Develop and coordinate group activities and programmes that promote recovery and wellbeing Work collaboratively with housing providers, safeguarding teams, health professionals and other partner agencies Ensure accurate case recording, compliance and achievement of contractual targets Help maintain safe, welcoming accommodation environments and respond to operational issues as they arise Participate in an on-call rota and travel between accommodation sites when required We are looking for someone with: Experience supporting adults with complex needs, ideally within domestic abuse, housing, homelessness or another trauma-informed service Strong knowledge of risk assessment, safeguarding and support planning Experience supervising, mentoring or leading staff, volunteers or students Excellent partnership working and advocacy skills The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Please note: This post is restricted to female applicants under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, as being female is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for this role.
