Role: Data Solutions Architect - GCP Type: Permanent, SAVP ( £125k) Location: London (Hybrid) Start: Immediate/ASAP Architect the next generation of banking data platforms. We're looking for a Data Solutions Architect to lead GCP solution design and advisory for a global consultancy's banking clients. What you'll do: Architect and guide the delivery of large-scale data platforms on GCP, shaping future-state solutions and cloud modernisation strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, translating business needs into solution blueprints and supporting RFP/RFI responses. Lead data modelling, pipeline design, governance, and innovation initiatives using tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and more. What we're looking for: 10+ years in BI/DW/Analytics, including 4+ years in architecture. Strong banking expertise and proven pre-sales/RFP experience. Hands-on GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.), enterprise data modelling, ETL/ELT, and governance tools (Unity Catalog, Alation, Profisee).
