Commis Chef Location: Wymondham Salary: Point 3 of the SET Support Staff Salary Scale, FTE £24,796 per annum, Pro-rata £19,395 - £19,742 per annum, including an allowance for holiday pay Vacancy Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, term-time only The College is a member of the Education Trust, an expanding education trust consisting of 13 Primary and 9 Secondary schools. The Role A vacancy exists for a Commis Chef who will assist and support the work of the College's Catering Department. The post-holder will work as part of an enthusiastic and Committed team assisting the Sous Chef in the production of main meals for the campus. The post-holder will be expected to cover for the Sous Chef when necessary. Key Responsibilities The production and service of meals and refreshments throughout the school day; Catering for all school functions and courses held both during the school term and non-term time; Assists in the preparation of college meals Ensures staff and kitchen hygiene requirements are met Ensures Health and Safety at work requirements are met Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Executive Chef.
