We're currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable housing association in the midlands for an experienced Multi Tradesman with experience fitting bathrooms and wet rooms to join their planned team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and dependable tradesperson to secure consistent, full-time work delivering high-quality repairs to social housing properties in the midlands region. Location: Rowley Regis and Surrounding Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week 08.00-16.30 Duration: Temporary to permanent Pay Rate: 19 - 21 per hour (Van provided) Key Responsibilities: Carrying out kitchen and bathroom installs to tenanted properties Plumbing: Minor repairs to pipework, taps, toilets, and domestic systems Carpentry: Hanging doors, fitting skirting, architraves, and general woodwork Plastering and Tiling: Patch repairs and making good Painting & Decorating: Internal finishing, including prep and touch-ups Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard Requirements: Previouskitchen and bathroom fitting experience is essential Experience across plumbing , carpentry , plastering , and painting NVQ level 2 or trade qualifications Full manual UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and a professional approach Interested in working with a company with a great reputation and working in a role that will make a difference to peoples lives? Contracts Manager - Construction We are seeking an ambitious manager that wants to grow with the business and manage 3-4 high end residential projects around Newbury and surrounding areas. About Company: Construction of high end bespoke of new residential builds, restoration of listed and historic properties. About role: Work closely with the project Quantity Survey to appreciate and understand the commercial implications and drivers associated with the delivery of the project Ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget Programme construction works Supervise construction works Maintain quality works control and complete RAMS Co-ordinate of trades Liaise with client Manage site meetings with both Sub Contractors and Clients Manage sub-contractors Procure materials Procure sub contractors Follow Architects and Engineers drawings Have a keen awareness of budget, cost control and cost recovery Ensure that expenditure is in line with the contract budget and resources are utilised efficiently A hands on individual is what this role requires. The support of good trades people and senior management to guide and assist is already provided. Candidate profile Must live within a 30 minutes drive to Newbury Must have technical knowlegable with experience in building houses from start to finish. This role will suit an individual from a multi-trade background and has developed their skills in to site management and is looking for an opportunity to manage 3-4 projects simultaneously within Newbury and surrounding areas. Full UK driving licence is required.
