Norfolk St, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2JE, UK Job Title: Animator / Video Editor Department: Marketing Location: Sheffield Working Pattern: Hybrid, includes 3 days each week in the office Contract Type: Full time, permanent Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum Role overview The Animator / Video Editor will be responsible for conceptualising, filming, editing, and animating engaging video content that aligns with marketing objectives. This role collaborates closely with the marketing team and other stakeholders to create high quality videos that drive engagement, conversion, and brand awareness. Key Responsibilities Conceptualise and develop video content ideas aligned with marketing objectives. Work with the wider team to ideate and create assets for animation and motion graphics. Tackle assigned video projects independently. Plan, film, and edit video content, including interviews, testimonials, product demos, and explainer videos. Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Design and animate motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds. Prepare illustrated assets ready for animation. Record and edit podcasts (remote and in person). Ensure all content meets brand guidelines and is optimised for web and social media. Manage projects independently while collaborating with stakeholders. Maintain strong file management and attention to detail. What will you need to succeed? Experience Proven experience in video production, editing, and animation (3+ years). Demonstrated ability to manage projects from concept to delivery. Knowledge Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and basic knowledge of other Adobe tools. Familiarity with video optimisation for social media and web. Understanding of EdTech and education sector (desirable). Skills Strong storytelling and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Comfortable setting up shoots and operating cameras. Qualifications Relevant degree or equivalent experience in video production or related field.
