Commercial & Procurement Strategy Develop procurement schedules and lead the acquisition of sub-contractor packages and major plant/equipment. Partner with the Quantity Surveyor on valuations, cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial risk management. Identify, justify, and submit variations to the client while protecting project margins. 4. Relationship & Team Management Mentor and guide site management teams and support staff. Foster strong supply chain relationships and actively manage sub-contractor performance. Assist with business development opportunities, tender support, and ongoing client engagement. JOB PURPOSE As an MEP Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of mechanical and electrical projects from pre or post construction through to final account. Working closely with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, engineers, subcontractors and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered commercially successfully, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. The role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with 3 15 years MEP / building services experience, who is comfortable managing commercial and industrial projects and taking ownership of project costs, valuations, variations and final accounts. They have recently secured a new 40m Residential New Build project based in North London and require an experienced/ senior M&E QS to run the day to day duties for this scheme from cradle to grave.
