Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and communicate clearly with clients.? Full UK driving licence.? Desirable F-Gas qualification - advantageous but not essential.? HGV & Plant Technician

Duties: Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment, with an eye for cleanliness and detail. Conduct pre and post operational checks on equipment, clean, lubricate and adjust items as necessary within manufacturer's recommendations always ensuring the machinery works to its best potential. Defect rectification in line with company reporting system. Work in accordance with company quality and health and safety systems. Service, maintain and repair a wide variety of machinery from large 360 excavator/material handling cranes to loading shovels, forklifts and light vans within agreed completion times. Diagnose and fault-find directly from operator reports. Provide regular updates on job progress and completion times to both the Transport Manager and Operations. Use and maintain workshop tooling in accordance with specifications and conditions. Skills: A good mechanical understanding, of mobile plant, crushing / screening equipment and HGV's. Welding experience. Experience of mobile plant operation with industry certification would be preferable. An excellent team player who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and a positive attitude. Good demonstrable record of timekeeping. Clean driving licence.
