Grounds Maintenance Operative Location: Based in Leiston Start Date: 11th May Contract Length: Ongoing We are currently looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team on an ongoing project based in IP16, starting Monday 11th. Role Overview You will be working as part of a team carrying out a range of grounds maintenance tasks on a large project. This is a hands-on role requiring experience with specialist equipment and machinery. The Role: We are seeking 3 experienced operatives within a 3 man gang for an on going project based in Wigan. We require 1 machine operative along with 2 groundworkers to complete internal and external finishing works on a Civils project for a Multi Story Car Park. Duties include but not limited to: Laying kerbs, edgings, channels, and bollards. Installing paving (block paving, slabs, and tactile paving). Preparing and laying sub-bases and final surfacing for roads, footpaths, and parking bays. Finishing concrete works (paths, ramps, steps, and hardstandings). Installing street furniture (barriers, planters, cycle stands, seating). Minor landscaping (topsoiling, seeding, turfing). Assisting with white-lining preparation and drainage finishing. Final snagging, tidying, and ensuring all external works meet specification.
