Responsibilities: Head up the SMT Line - would oversee all aspects of the SMT production line, including all the machines, staff and scheduling of work Process Optimisation - would be responsible for improving throughput, yield and quality on SMT lines (e.g. solder paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering) Equipment Management - would oversee setting up, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting SMT machinery (pick-and-place, ovens, printers, AOI/SPI) New Production Introduction - support the implementation of new designs into production, ensuring manufacturability and troubleshooting any problems. Quality and Compliance - root cause analysis of any defects, implementing corrective actions and ensuring adherence to IPC standards. Leadership & Training - responsible for small team of SMT operators in terms of workload and training.
