You will be supporting the SHEQ Manager ensuring our high standards in Health & Safety, environmental impact and quality management for the business are consistently met and continuously improved through best practice whilst maintaining certification & compliance in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide support to the SHEQ Manager Conduct regular safety audits, workplace inspections, and risk assessments across all departments. Managing & maintaining the company's SHEQ controls and policies in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standardisation requirements. Monitor and report on SHEQ performance metrics and contribute to departmental improvement plans. Deliver safety inductions and training to promote a strong safety culture. Review & draft company Risk Assessments, Procedures, Policies & Processes. Provide updates to senior managers around SHEQ issues. Identify trends in relation to business behaviours and practices. Ensure compliance with all relevant SHEQ legislation, company policies and procedures. Review and assess ISO audit reports and oversee corrective actions with SHEQ Manager. Assist in customer complaint investigations & corrective actions. Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a SHEQ role or in a similar capacity Strong working knowledge of UK SHEQ legislation and best practice. NEBOSH General Certificate (essential); Fire Safety or Environmental qualification (desirable). ISO 9001/14001/45001 experience. Conducting internal/external audits. Conducting risk assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise professionally at all levels. Accurate and professional written skills. Microsoft Office skills including competency in Excel, Word, Power Point, and a willingness to learn and adopt modern technologies.
