Location: Remote (occasional travel to Swindon) Contract: Until 30 September 2026 IR35: Inside Clearance: BPSS required Rate: Up to 550 per day (Umbrella) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Test Engineer to support a major public sector digital programme. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of enterprise Salesforce solutions across complex integrated systems, contributing across the full software delivery lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Functional, integration, exploratory, and non-functional testing Test automation using Playwright and BDD (Cucumber) API testing using Postman or Rest Assured Collaboration with Salesforce developers on unit test coverage Supporting UAT with business analysts Managing defects through to resolution Maintaining and improving regression test suites Supporting release and DevOps processes Mentoring junior testers Stakeholder reporting and demos Essential Skills & Experience Strong Salesforce (SFDC) platform experience Salesforce functional & integration testing Salesforce Admin 201 or equivalent experience Playwright automation experience BDD frameworks (Cucumber) API testing tools (Postman / Rest Assured) JavaScript or Java scripting (read/write ability) Experience testing React-based applications Agile delivery experience CI/CD and DevOps understanding Desirable Experience ISTQB or Agile Tester certification ITIL Foundation Apex (basic scripting/reading) Loans & Investment application experience Conga templates FinDock & GoCardless integrations Experience delivering digital transformation programmes About You You are a senior test engineer with strong Salesforce expertise and a passion for automation and quality engineering.
