What's involved? As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will work as part of a well-established and passionate kitchen team. Our client is looking for someone with the same passion for delivering high-quality dishes and the drive to succeed and progress in their career. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes from our pastry section, as well as overseeing the daily running of the pastry and bakery section. You will prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as bread and cakes using fresh ingredients, following recipes along the way and then decorating the final product, whilst helping the team in develop and create new items and desserts for the pastry kitchen, ensuring that you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety at all times. The successful candidate will have previous hotel experience; ideally to 2 Rosette standard or equivalent, be passionate about delivering guests a high-quality, memorable dining experience, whilst also being driven to progress within the pastry team. You will have previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or be a strong Commis Pastry Chef, looking to make the next step in their career.
