Designed with small classes (around 6 pupils), each supported by a teacher and teaching assistant, it delivers a personalised, low-arousal environment with sensory-friendly spaces and strong visuals. The curriculum blends National Curriculum subjects with creative, physical, outdoor learning, and community engagement, guiding students toward qualifications (Unit Awards, Entry Levels, Functional Skills, or GCSEs) and fostering independence and employability skills. The school are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join their expanding provision. The Role: Key Responsibilites: Manage and prioritise a specialist caseload under supervision Assess students using formal tools and clinical observations Deliver tailored interventions individual and group Monitor progress using evidence-based practices Oversee therapy programmes delivered by support staff Contribute to student reviews and placements Work closely with families, staff, and external professionals Provide training to staff and parents where needed Essential: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy HCPC registration and RCSLT membership Minimum 2 years post-registration experience (including paediatric caseload in a school setting) Strong assessment and diagnostic skills As a Speech and Language Therapist and part of our team, you benefit from: Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
