Job Title: Town Planner Senior Town Planner Location: Bristol Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading multidisciplinary property consultancy in the search for a talented Planner or Senior Planner to join their growing Planning team in Bristol. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious RTPI-qualified planning professional to become part of one of the South West's most respected planning teams, working on a diverse portfolio of high-profile and regionally significant developments. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of projects including strategic urban extensions, new settlements, major industrial and logistics schemes, town centre regeneration, mixed-use developments, and rural estate portfolios. The successful Planner or Senior Planner will join a collaborative and highly experienced team environment, offering excellent professional development opportunities and exposure to projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering planning advice, preparing planning applications and planning statements, managing project workstreams, and supporting planning appeals and Local Plan promotions. Candidates should have a minimum of four years' experience within town planning and possess a strong understanding of the English planning system. MRTPI qualification is essential. The ideal individual will be commercially aware, proactive, detail-oriented, and confident managing their own caseload while maintaining excellent client relationships. Strong written communication and presentation skills are also important for success in this role. This position offers the chance to work within a vibrant Bristol office alongside professionals across development, investment, surveying, and property management disciplines, creating a truly collaborative working environment.
