Our client who is under new ownership and leadership is looking for a Welder to work on a variety of fabrication projects using mild steel, aluminium and stainless. The type of work is often on show so fettling, finishing, and prepping for powder-coating are also important. Materials used is usually 2-6mm, and products can include self check-in kiosks, EV charging stations, electrical racks and cabinets, leisure and retail equipment. Experience of MIG, TIG, and MMA is preferred. There is plenty of work and opportunities for overtime if desired. Standard hours are Mon-Thurs 7-4, and Friday 7-1. Rates of pay are competitive and will depend upon experience and level of welding ability. A weld test will form part of the recruitment process.
