Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager within the SBU, ensuring that all governance is followed whilst working in a pro-active manner to engage and negotiate with new and existing clients. To lead on the negotiation process both upstream and downstream (where required) with effective negotiation strategies in place that protect the businesses "red lines". Key Deliverables Comply with the company's Health and Safety standards ensuring that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities relating to the activities they complete. Provide leadership for the whole team (Commercial Team and Wider); in line with company standards and values, working to maximise the potential of both the teams and the individuals within them. Commercial Contract evaluation for bids including Commercial Review, Legal review, risk profile and mitigation strategy, Insurance and bonds review. Ensure all rates are built up from 1st principles and Market tested. Liaise with other SBU's including internal Professional Services for internal design for prospective tenders Manage contracts and ensure the appropriate commercial rigour in line with Group operating standards are applied. Manage tender costs within the SBU and ensure they are fair and equitable. Lead on Handover to delivery team Complete business reports as detailed by the Managing Director, Operations Director, Commercial Director and/or Senior Commercial Manager Ensure all contracts, up and down supply chain, are in place and appropriate for the business. Provide Projected Cash Flow Forecasts. Value Completed works as required. Identify & notification of Compensation Events (if required) Work with estimator and in turn CVR creation.
