RM Recruit are proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking organisation based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore who are seeking a driven HR Assistant to join their team on a part-time, 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. This role involves working 3 days per week onsite. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their HR career within a supportive and fast-paced working environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR function, providing administrative support across a range of HR activities while ensuring a professional and confidential approach at all times. Key Responsibilities Assisting with all aspects of HR administration Supporting the recruitment process, including arranging interviews and preparing offer documentation Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems Assisting with onboarding and induction processes for new starters Supporting payroll administration and absence management where required Preparing HR letters, contracts, and other documentation Responding to employee queries in a professional and timely manner Supporting the HR team with ad hoc projects and general administration Person Specification CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards CIPD would be advantageous but not essential Previous administration experience, ideally within an HR environment Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Professional, approachable, and able to handle confidential information sensitively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications A willingness to learn and develop within an HR role If you are seeking a new challenge and the above role sounds of interest, we encourage you to apply.
