Working from Engineering drawings to BS / ISO standards. To Investigate, solve, and implement solutions to production and machine problems. To transport parts and materials using manual and powered lifting equipment. To provide cover for other departments as required. Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required Experience of setting and operating metal forming machinery. Experience of any of the following processes would be desirable. Cold Heading Thread Rolling (Flat dies) Power Presses (Progression press tooling) Multi-spindle machines (BSA / Wickman) Mechanical Engineering qualification (ideally BTEC level 3) or suitable apprenticeship, but a long-proven track record could also suffice. Ability to understand and work to Engineering drawings. Excellent mechanical problem solving.
