Ideally you'll have: Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Sales Ledger Clerk or Accounts Administrator Experience working within a finance office or accounts environment Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Confidence communicating with colleagues and customers The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team Experience within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Allocations Assistant Location: West Bromwich Salary: 28,350 Working Pattern: Hybrid (1 day per week working from home) Role Overview You will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring they are accurately recorded and allocated, and maintaining the accuracy of the sales ledger. The role supports the wider finance team by resolving discrepancies, keeping accounts up to date, and contributing to key processes such as month-end and audit activities.
