Our client is a well established company offering Japanese Knotweed treatment to various commercial and residential sites, they are seeing an experienced Gardener with the PA1 and PA6 to become a Japanese Knotweed Technician and get supported to become certified, working on sites across London. As the successful candidate you will be an organised and responsible individual with attention to detail. You will be responsible for treating Japanese knotweed using a variety of treatment methods of which you will receive full training. Your daily tasks will include carrying out scheduled treatments on a daily basis during the treatment season and other work on an ad-hoc basis. You will be required to adhere to Health and Safety guidelines / regulations. Client service and satisfaction levels are to be professionally maintained at all times whilst on the property or sites. As the ideal candidate you will be a driver, a reliable individual who enjoys hands-on work and driving to various locations. No prior experience? No problem they provide full training! Role & Responsibilities Treatment of Japanese Knotweed using approved treatment methods and chemicals. Following Japanese Knotweed management plans to ensure correct process is followed to prevent the spread of Japanese Knotweed, adhering to the Property Care Association s code of practice at all times. Completion of client records after each treatment to maintain company records. Ensuring biosecurity is well maintained on site to prevent the spread of Japanese Knotweed, including the disposal of waste. Upkeep of the van allocated to you. Keeping it clean and presentable. Fuel card to be used when filling up for the applicable journey site to site. Your role will involve the use of potentially harmful chemicals. Full PPE will be provided to you to ensure you are protected at all times.
