You'll be teaching a lovely Reception class, supporting their early development and fostering a love of learning at a crucial stage in their education. With a new Headteacher who has a proven track record of school improvement, the school is energised and united around a shared vision: to provide outstanding education for every child. The team is close-knit, collaborative and highly motivated to create an inclusive and enriching learning environment. Staff are supported with high-quality CPD, and the leadership actively encourages the sharing of good practice this role would suit an experienced EYFS teacher who is keen to bring their expertise and help shape the continued growth of the school. Children are happy, engaged, and eager to learn. The Reception classroom is well-equipped with plenty of outdoor learning opportunities and a dedicated team of TAs to support. The Role • Reception class teacher maternity cover • Full time, fixed term from January to end of academic year • Planning, delivery and assessment required PPA time provided • Paid to scale (MPS/UPS) • Ideal for teachers with 2+ years of EYFS experience Requirements • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and effective early years practice • Experience planning engaging, child-led learning experiences • Confident in assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS with update service (or willingness to obtain one) • Up-to-date CV covering the past two years of employment all gaps must be explained • UK QTS or equivalent and full right to work in the UK Why anzuk?
