Industrious Recruitment are seeking a Production Operative to join the team of our Milton Keynes based client. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off First two 6am-6pm - Days Second two 6pm - 6am - Nights Then 4 days off Summary of responsibilities: Quality check and identify any defective items before they are packed and shipped to customers. Ensure correct pack loading configuration. Ensuring all documentation is correctly filled in Complete the required number of quality checks as per instructions Any faults found should be rectified immediately. Ensure all products are labelled accurately with correct product code and number of pallets in line with Company standards and any specific special instruction by the customer Support Production Operators to maintain production on the machines to meet agreed standards of quality and output Support both the Warehouse and Production function on site, as required Ensure the products are stored in correct area and is processed efficiently on a daily basis Comply with Company Health and Safety Policy Maintain Hygiene and Quality Standards Maintain housekeeping standards to the highest standards at all times Be aware of day-to-day changes especially relative to the job which affects the efficiency Attend relevant training as instructed from the Shift Manager Work as a team with other members of staff to ensure efficient machine operation Ensure ongoing and continuous improvement within the department Adherence to all Company policies, procedure and work instructions as relevant. Skills & Experience required: Proven work experience within Production & Manufacturing Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. High Attention to Detail. Communication skills. Positive and proactive attitude. Team player but also able to work on own initative.
