Audit & Accounts Director / Audit & Accounts Partner Designate (with RI status) McGinnis Loy Associates is proud to be working with a fast growing Regional Accountancy Firm with 12 partners and 80+ staff who are looking for an Audit & Accounts Director / Partner Designate (ideally with RI status) to join their growing LONDON team. Reporting to the Senior Partners, it will be a salaried role profit share initially, with a view to becoming an equity partner in the future. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of OMBs/SMEs including Limited Companies, PE-backed firms and Partnerships (typically up to £150m turnover) and managing a team of Qualified General Practice staff. Key deliverables for the position include: Reviewing complex client accounts & financial statements prepared by Qualified staff for client sign-off Ensuring all Audit & Account assignments comply with UK Accounting Standards and internal policies & procedures Managing complex audits, staff planning, presenting final audit files/close-out meetings with clients at 'C' suite level Planning special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and ensuring the teams meet client deadlines. Setting objectives and completing appraisals for Audit staff, including future staff growth planning for the office Engaging with new clients and business development activities to help grow the firm across the Greater London area As Partner, point of contact for major with direct contact at CFO/CEO level Ensuring all work across the office is carried out profitably & on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's standards Attending weekly Board Meetings with Partners across the firm to discuss future growth strategy, staff planning, marketing etc Promoting other service lines within the firm and attending external business seminars/events as required To be considered for the Audit/Audit & Accounts Director role you should be a Qualified ACA or Qualified ACCA Accountant (with RI status ideally) with comprehensive External Audit experience with strong staff management and business growth skills.
