Are you an experienced eLearning designer with good Articulate 360 skills, ready to bring accessible design to important public services? The Accessibility Standards and Strategy Team plays a key role in building an inclusive culture across DWP. We support colleagues to deliver products, services and internal communications that are accessible, inclusive and fully compliant with accessibility legislation. We lead on researching documenting and sharing best practices to educate teams across DWP, while also monitoring and reporting on accessibility compliance. We are seeking an Articulate 360 Specialist to join our established team and help us continue delivering high standards of digital accessibility for both our customers and colleagues. In your first year you will benefit from a structured programme of intensive training in digital accessibility. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need? Proficient in Articulate 360, with strong expertise in Storyline and Rise. Demonstrated experience designing and developing eLearning using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile methodologies. Good understanding of digital accessibility standards and inclusive design principles. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Highly self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills. You and your role You will work within the Accessibility Standards and Strategy Team, where you will be responsible for developing eLearning products as well as providing consultancy and training to support learning and development teams across the organisation. The role combines hands-on design work with advisory and training responsibilities. As part of your development, you will take part in a structured one-year programme aimed at building a strong and comprehensive understanding of digital accessibility. This will include learning about assistive technologies, accessibility standards and relevant legislation to ensure your knowledge is both current and applied effectively in your work. You will design and create high-quality engaging eLearning content with a focus on disability, accessibility and inclusion. This will involve producing learning materials that are not only informative but also accessible and inclusive for a wide range of users. A key aspect of your role will involve working closely with Learning and Development teams, offering guidance and consultancy to help them design and deliver accessible eLearning products. You will also be responsible for delivering training sessions on accessibility in eLearning to help build capability across teams. Additionally, you will create and deliver training on developing accessible content using tools such as Storyline, Rise and other multimedia platforms, while also testing digital learning products using assistive technologies. As part of the role you will also occasionally travel to different locations to support business needs with journeys - typically within a reasonable distance and planned well in advance. Details.
