Freelance Quantity Surveyor (Civils) needed, Liverpool. Your new company Hays are partnered with a well-established civil engineering contractor, operating nationally, who are seeking a freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to support delivery of a long-term highways framework in the North West. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will: Manage commercial delivery of asphalt surfacing schemes under NEC4 contracts. Oversee subcontractor procurement, payments, and change control. Lead cost forecasting, valuations, and reporting across multiple workstreams. Handle compensation events and ensure NEC4 compliance. Collaborate with delivery teams and maintain strong client relationships. Monitor risks, performance, and framework KPIs.
