What you'll be doing In this role, your goal is to service the production line with materials as per line schedule in a timely manner to avoid any downtime waiting for raw materials. To inform the Production Supervisor of any problems concerning raw material availability that may affect the quality of the lines finished product and efficiency of the line Communication with production managers and Coordinators Locating & batching raw materials ready for the next run Ensuring these batched items are the correct code with useable shelf life Transporting these materials to the line on change over Removing materials from the previous run from the line topping up' materials on the line to ensure sufficient stock is available for use during each production run To ensure adherence to all appropriate systems and procedures; HACCP and H&S You'll also be making sure that your job is done to a high degree of accuracy and speed in line with company expectations Operating Production Machines Working as part of a team to ensure the product / Line runs as it should Working as part of a team Following instructions and procedures Spotting problems What we're looking for Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience: Prior experience as a machine operator. Experienced Canning Line Packaging Operative

Insight Employment are seeking an Experienced Canning Line Packaging Operative with a counterbalance licence to work for a client of ours in Bedford. The Role: - As an Experienced Canning Line Packaging Operative you will be standing next to conveyor belts, closely observing the bottles/cans as they pass by during the production process. Your role would be crucial in ensuring that these containers are filled to the required levels and that there are no major deviations. Your keen eye would help identify defective bottle/cans, ensuring only the best products make it onto the shelves. Requirements: - Must have canning line experience or have worked in a fast-paced food production environment Must have an in-date or expired counterbalance licence Clamp licence would be an advance, but not essential Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to perform scheduled maintenance of the canning line Must be able to lift up to 40lbs Excellent attention to detail Able to operate machinery Understand site health & safety procedures Shift/Hours: - Mon - Fri 08:00am-16:00pm You will need to be open to working 3 shifts (6am-2pm,2pm-10pm,10pm-6am) Salary: - £31,140.00 per annum + £6,684.39 shift allowance.
