What you ll be doing As a Trainee Recovery Worker, you ll shadow experienced staff and gradually build confidence in core aspects of the role, including: Managing and planning a caseload with increasing independence Supporting care reviews and working closely with community partners Co-facilitating group programmes and structured interventions Completing risk, initial, and comprehensive assessments Delivering 1:1 sessions and contributing to recovery planning Supporting access to clinical and therapeutic interventions Recording data accurately for audit, reporting, and research Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team What you ll get Structured training, mentoring, and regular supervision A clear development pathway towards a recognised qualification Protected time for study alongside practical experience Ongoing reviews to keep your learning and progress on track Mandatory therapeutic input as part of your traineeship This is a development-focused position designed to build your skills, confidence, and competence in recovery work. You ll be embedded within a supportive team, shadowing a member of staff and receiving tailored guidance, supervision, and regular reviews to help you build confidence and competence in the role.
