A thorough understanding and application of the wide range of legislation relating to Housing, Public Health, Drainage and Pests, including codes of practice, local and national guidance. Knowledge and understanding of the departmental enforcement policy. Understanding of Court procedures to give expert evidence for prosecutions, appeals & recovery of costs. Ability to manage conflicting priorities of various customers and case load by using a range of imaginative solutions using own expertise.
