Responsibilities This roles primary focus is proactive maintenance, working through planned preventative maintenance of the machinery and equipment throughout the site. In and around the above, you will also assist with any reactive work, attending to and resolving breakdowns urgently, general project work, machinery upgrades, installation, ad-hoc facilities, coordinating any specialist contractors when on-site and help support continuous improvements. Requirements Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Mechanical Fitter Holding qualifications or equivalent experience in mechanical or similar Maintenance or Service Engineer background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated etc. Have maintenance and troubleshooting skills across SOME of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, pneumatics, hydraulics etc. Planned preventative maintenance experience Good troubleshooting & fault-finding skills. Friendly and adaptable with the ability to work well as part of a close-knit team Proactive, self-starter work attitude and can be flexible and able to give & take on start & finish times when necessary.
