Job Title: Data Analyst / Data Centre Operations Analyst Location: Wakefield (Data Centre Environment) Salary: Competitive Type: Permanent Sector: Enterprise & Datacentre Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join a critical Data Centre operations team, supporting Floor Management and Engineering Management functions within a large-scale enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with infrastructure data, operational reporting, asset auditing, and stakeholder coordination within a mission-critical Data Centre setting. What You'll Be Doing Supporting Data Centre Floor Management and Engineering teams with operational analysis and reporting Managing and maintaining infrastructure data, documentation, and operational records Conducting power and connectivity audits across multiple Data Halls Tracing power connectivity from IT equipment through to local power distribution systems Working closely with platform owners, network operations teams, and engineers to ensure service continuity during audit and assessment activities Producing accurate documentation and progress reports for key stakeholders Supporting infrastructure change activities and engineering projects Providing weekly updates on audit progress and operational findings What We're Looking For Strong analytical and reporting skills Experience working within Data Centre, IT Infrastructure, Engineering, Facilities, or Operational environments Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work with multiple stakeholders across technical and operational teams Experience auditing assets, power, connectivity, or infrastructure environments would be highly advantageous Strong communication and organisational skills Why Apply? Electrical Shift Engineer Building Services Critical Environments Slough & Surrounding Areas Day & Night Shifts 52,000 - 62,000 + Paid overtime & employment package . We are actively recruiting for a variety of Electrical Shift Engineers to join our building services maintenance team within highly critical datacentre environments based in Slough with similar roles also covering Surrey, Hampshire and West London. As the Electrical Shift Engineer, you will be working as part of a shift team, responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), remedial works and first-line fault finding across a critical data centre environment. General building services equipment will include electrical systems such as wiring, sockets, circuits, power distribution systems and transformers, as well as mechanical plant including air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), chillers and associated building services equipment. Critical systems will include uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) switching operations, HV transformers, standby generators, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units and Computer Room Air Handling (CRAH) systems. Employment Package: Role: Electrical Shift Engineer Status: Permanent, PAYE Base Salary: 52,000 - 62,000 Paid overtime available Hours: Continental shift pattern, 12 hour shifts. Days & Nights. (ie: 4 on, 6 off, 6 on, 4 off etc). (average of 14 working days per month). Industry: Facilities Maintenance (FM) / Building Services Environment: Critical, Datacentre environment (static site). Free on-site parking available. Pension, private medical and dental cover, 25 days holiday pro rata to shift pattern. Requirements: Must hold electrical maintenance experience in either commercial building services or critical environments. Experience within datacentres or working with UPS systems, HV Switching, HV Shutdowns, CRAC or CRAH units is highly preferable but not essential. Must have a strong electrical understanding. Mechanical plant / HVAC experience is again preferable but not essential.
