This is a varied, hands-on role working on the build on new specialist vehicles, You will be involved in both new vehicle builds and repair work within a busy workshop and production environment. As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for: Installing wiring looms, lighting systems and electrical components on commercial vehicles Fitting hydraulic pipework (training given) Fitting and connecting bin lift controls, CANbus systems, reverse cameras, beacons, warning lights and sensors Carrying out diagnostics, fault finding and repairs using multimeters and diagnostic equipment Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, technical drawings and build specifications Supporting vehicle build projects and refurbishment work within the workshop Working closely with mechanical fitters, bodybuilders and quality teams to ensure smooth production flow Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety procedures.
