This is a hands-on leadership role combining advanced technical expertise with day-to-day workshop supervision. You will need : NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Qualified MOT Tester Minimum 10 years experience in vehicle mechanics Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability Proven experience working on a wide range of vehicles Full UK Driving Licence About you: As a Vehicle Technician you will lead on complex diagnostics and repairs, while supporting the development of junior team members and ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism across the workshop. The details: 1. Technical Leadership Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle faults Take ownership of larger, high-value, and technically challenging jobs Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard Support quality control across all workshop outputs 2. Team Leadership & Development Mentor and support apprentices and junior technicians Act as a role model for professional conduct, work ethic, and standards Provide guidance and technical oversight to the team Assist in building a high-performance workshop culture 3.
