The role supports operational and project teams by ensuring that electrical equipment, plant items, and materials are correctly received, stored, controlled, and issued. The role also requires the safe operation of material handling equipment, including operating counterbalnce forklift truck, to facilitate the movement of heavy materials within the stores and yard areas and ensure compliance with company procedures, health and safety regulations, and stock management processes. Key Responsibilities Materials Receiving and Storage Receive and inspect deliveries of electrical equipment, plant, and materials, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and delivery documentation. Safely unload and store items including large cable drums, transformers, switchgear components, and monitoring equipment. Ensure all materials are appropriately labelled, recorded, and stored in designated locations. Report damaged, incorrect, or missing goods in accordance with company procedures. Stock Control and Inventory Management Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems and documentation. Conduct routine stock checks and participate in periodic stock audits. Monitor stock levels and notify the Stores Supervisor of shortages or discrepancies. Ensure proper traceability of equipment where required. Materials Issue and Distribution Pick, pack, and issue materials to operational teams and project personnel. Prepare materials and plant for dispatch to operational sites. Assist with loading vehicles and ensuring loads are secured safely. Equipment Handling and Plant Movement Safely handle heavy or oversized equipment using appropriate lifting methods. Operate a counterbalance forklift truck for loading, unloading, and internal transport of materials. Assist with the handling and positioning of large cable drums and plant equipment in the yard and stores areas. Stores Maintenance Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment within the stores and yard. Ensure storage areas are clearly marked, and materials are stored safely to prevent hazards. Job Purpose Auto Electrician Beautifully engineered vehicles are a result of months and sometimes years of meticulous design, dedicated craftsmanship, uncompromising testing, and a personal customer experience second-to-none. JOB PURPOSE: To provide electrical support to the manufacturing areas. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Rectification: To seek and repair electrical faults on the vehicle (which may also involve removal and re-fitting of interior/exterior trim.) to rectify the fault. Ability to use diagnostic equipment for re-testing and verification process. Read and interpret diagnostic equipment output to minimise rework time/costs. Reporting of faults back through Level zero's KTM's PQS etc. to relevant areas of production/ engineering. Ability to communicate effectively with Engineers/suppliers with regard to electrical issues. Be able to check vehicle specifications conform to build requirement/ customer options using the relevant documentation. Storage of controlled substances / components safely in correct location(s). Adhere to company safety, housekeeping and discipline standards QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : It would be advantageous if the successful candidate has completed a full electrical apprenticeship (or equivalent) and have relevant automotive experience. Be able to work to Aston Martin build standards - interior and exterior trim. Specialised knowledge of auto electrics, harness manufacture, and electronic module experience (diagnostics) is necessary. The ability to read, interpret and work to engineering circuit drawings /process sheets is essential The candidate should possess a clean driving licence. In addition to the above the candidate should have good communication skills and a general understanding of computers.
