We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our dedicated team on a Temp-to-Perm basis. This crucial role involves working closely with pupils who require intensive support to manage their behaviour and re-engage with their learning. A significant element of this position includes conducting essential home visits and attending external meetings, making a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle essential. The Role and Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and challenging behaviour . Implement tailored behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques, working under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff. Assist in the delivery of a modified curriculum and therapeutic interventions to promote pupil well-being and academic progress. Conduct planned and essential home visits to support family engagement and maintain communication between the school and home environment (driving is essential for this duty). Contribute to the assessment, planning, and review of Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans. Act as a positive role model, fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
